Speedy Pay, or SpeedyPay.info, was conceived as a result of extensive research I did to find the fastest, cheapeast, safest and easiest to use money transfer services, both domestically and internationally.
At the time I began this research I was a web developer, web designer and writer, and I had just begun contracting out some of my tasks to programmers, designers and writers in other parts of the United States, and also in India, Russia and the Ukraine.
As a result I had a needed a secure way to pay my contractors. Some would not accept mailed checks, and the postal service in some of those nations is notoriously unreliable.
At first I used the very well known money transfer services like MoneyGram and Western Union. I found these services to be quite satisfactory in some ways, and not so much in others. I tried Paypal and while my experience with Paypal has been good overall, they do not function in many countries. I also tried some smaller money transfer services like iKobo and Xoom, as well as straight bank wire transfers.
I’ve written about many of these services here on SpeedyPay.info, and now that I have started this “money transfer blog”, as I like to call it, I will be deliberately experimenting with and seeking out many types of money transfer options, in order to review them for this website. I hope you find this information useful and will return often. Thanks very much!
